About AnnaLaura Brown and My Story

I recently graduated from Indiana University where I recieved a masters degree in Library Science. I majored in French and minored in Spanish at the University of Utah. I also have a Masters in French Literature from the University of Utah. I am originally from Salt Lake City, Utah and I love the mountains. I currently work part time doing secretarial work for a private school which my grandparents started and which is now a family run business and part time at a business college library. My goal is eventually make enough money to get out of debt and work full time on my business.
I like to read, ice skate, watch The Amazing Race, and The Apprentice on TV, play with dogs, especially golden retrievers and use computers. I especially enjoy web design and playing around with new programs and technologies. I have significant work experience in sales, customer service, retail and telemarketing and I enjoy working with people.
I became a distributor at the end of August 2005 and in March of 2006 I began seriously working my business with full force. I had looked over and considered other network marketing and home based businesses but none seemed like the perfect fit. Then I found it. High quality consumable products at a reasonable price with a large market. Nearly everyone loves candles and soaps and ours are no exception. A fairly new, quickly growing company where honesty, integrity and family come first and where it is possible to begin without investing a large amount of money.
My first shipment of candles arrived at my door the same day I moved from Salt Lake to Bloomington and one week prior to beginning my graduate program. So to say the least I was overwhelmed. A new business, a new city and a new program of studies all at once. Although the combination of all of these things was a lot, it has turned out to be a great blessing.
I love being associated with such a great company and I strongly encourage other students and young people to become involved. Through working my business I have learned a lot about myself and it has provided with the chance to make some additional income. I first found out about these candles back in January 2005 but decided to delay pursuing the business side until August. If you are considering this opportunity, I know you won't regret it but at the same time you should decide if now is the right time for you and if so why are you interested and are you motivated enough to make it work for you. I especially encourage other college students to seriously consider it. Even though it requires a significant investment of time and effort. It is worth it. Not only because of the possibility for financial compensation but also because of the relationships I have developed in working this business. I have not only made great money and my income continues to grow monthly but I have made friends from all over the US, and my life has been changed by the many people I have had the priviledge of associating with. However, I have had my own share of challenges and struggles and have had to spend quite a bit of time teaching myself how to become a leader as well as how to market online.
As anyone who has tried to do this knows, there is definately a learning curve involved and it does not happen overnight. I am currently focusing on building my business via web 2.0 methods such as youtube and myspace. I also do quite a bit of blogging and article marketing. I love the challenge as well as the growth and income from the results I am experiencing.
